Key Purpose of the Role:
The Customer is looking for a strong and experienced Biztalk developer who will perform both as an individual contributor as well as a servant leader. The primary responsibility of the role is for the development & maintenance of enterprise integrations in accordance with technical and functional specifications. Successful candidates need to possess deep hands-on technical expertise in building enterprise integrations using technologies like Biztalk Server 2016, C#.NET, SQL Server, Web services and XML. We are looking for a talented, team-oriented individual that will help make a difference in an aggressively growing organization. Prior experience in the education domain would be an additional advantage.
Principal Responsibilities:
• Work with DevOps Squad members, Product Owners, Architects and Consultants as well as various business users to define requirements and work items in Azure DevOps as part of Product Backlog
• Work in an Agile DevOps approach/mindset to deliver technical solutions which meet DevOps Squad’s Definition of Done encompassing Design, development, quality Assurance and deployment activities.
• Defining, developing and executing data migration requirements
• Troubleshooting and supporting existing functionality across the DevOps Squads supported applications
• Training and Knowledge sharing within DevOps Squad, and of wider organisation users if required
• Ensuring all work is tracked in Azure DevOps or ServiceNow where appropriate
• Attendance to all Squad’s routines, including Daily Stand-ups, Planning Sessions, Retrospectives, and mid-sprint reviews.
• Technical subject matter expert for the BizTalk platform and joint product-owner of the application code.
Person Specification:
• Minimal 4+ years of relevant experience in BizTalk 2016.
• Creating and Configuring BizTalk Schemas (XSD), Maps, Pipelines, Ports, Orchestrations and Custom BizTalk components.
• C#.net development experience with ASP.NET MVC, WPF, WCF etc.
• Designing custom message pipelines to promote useful properties and handle specific message types.
• Creating BizTalk maps for EDI / XML / Flat File transformations using advanced functoids.
• Deploying BizTalk applications to respective development/testing environments by exporting and importing .msi files and bindings using the BTDF framework.
• Knowledge Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Processing XML Messages Using XPath and XSLT for Data Transformations,
