We're seeking a full-time Blockchain Developer to join our team.

Polysights builds tools that help people understand and trade prediction markets. We combine research, data, and proprietary metrics to surface what’s actually actionable.
Why this role exists
A lot of the edge in prediction markets comes from what happens on-chain and in market microstructure. We want someone who can build reliable blockchain integrations, help us extract cleaner signals, and ship production features that turn on-chain activity into usable intelligence.
What you’ll do
Build and maintain blockchain integrations that power Polysights features (wallet intelligence, transfers, contract interactions, attribution signals).
Work with prediction market data sources (CLOB APIs, subgraphs, on-chain logs) and help turn them into clean, queryable datasets.
Implement and maintain services that ingest, normalize, and enrich on-chain events at scale.
Help design and ship features that depend on blockchain behavior (wallet labeling, entity clustering, heuristics, alerting triggers).
Collaborate with product and data to translate “we noticed this pattern” into something shippable and testable.
Who you are
Strong engineering fundamentals and experience shipping real systems.
Comfortable working with blockchain data (transactions, logs, contract calls) and debugging weird edge cases.
Strong judgment and a security mindset. You think about failure modes before they become incidents.
Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment. You can manage multiple threads, prioritize well, and keep quality high under short timelines.
Genuinely interested in crypto, markets, and how on-chain behavior maps to incentives.
Nice to have
Solidity and EVM experience (reading and reasoning about contracts, writing minimal contracts if needed).
Experience with indexers/subgraphs, RPC providers, event decoding, and block reorg handling.
Familiarity with Polymarket or prediction market mechanics.
Experience with Postgres, data pipelines, and/or cloud deployments.
Location and format
Hybrid preferred. A few days per week in our downtown Halifax office (flexible schedule). Remote is considered for exceptional talent, especially with strong prior work or open-source contributions.
Compensation
Paid role. Details depend on scope, hours, and experience.
