Bloom | HR & Workplace Strategy Facilitator

💰 £3,520 - £5,632 (Est.) 📍 Perth

Job Description

I’m Avery, Founder & CEO of Bloom—a workplace design consultancy changing the way the world works. We’re the only firm bridging HR, DEI, and recruitment to transform the employee experience from end to end. From building teams to revamping HR systems to leading DEI workshops, we help companies design workplaces that actually work for people.

We’ve partnered with brands like CAMH, Joe Fresh, Spotify, Knix, and SmartSweets to rethink how we work. Along the way, we’ve identified a major gap: the essential leadership and interpersonal skills that aren’t traditionally taught—like giving and receiving feedback, conflict resolution, and leading with emotional intelligence. That’s why we created Bloom Capacity Building training, equipping teams with practical, actionable tools to navigate today’s workplace.

Now, we’re expanding our collective of Bloom Facilitators to help lead these transformative trainings. If you’re passionate about work, people, and building stronger teams through anti-oppressive practices, let’s connect. The future of work isn’t a prediction—it’s a practice. And we have the opportunity to start building it, together.
Why Bloom?

At Bloom, we’re on a mission to change the way the world works—for the better. We don’t just deliver training; we drive real transformation by helping organizations build lasting DEI capacity. Our approach goes beyond one-time sessions. Through capacity-building and leadership development, we equip teams with the confidence, skills, and tools to embed equity into everyday practices in a way that feels authentic and impactful.

As a facilitator with Bloom, you’ll have the flexibility to shape your work around your expertise and schedule while making a real impact. We’ve partnered with some of the world’s most iconic companies—ones that genuinely care about building better workplaces for everyone. This is flexible work where you’ll play a key role in guiding people through meaningful growth, helping individuals and organizations navigate complex workplace challenges with confidence.

You’ll also be part of a dynamic, supportive community of educators and experts, with opportunities for collaboration, ongoing learning, and access to resources that enhance your facilitation skills. If you’re passionate about shaping the future of work, this opportunity is for you.
About the Role

We’re looking to connect with HR leaders, workplace coaches, and workplace enthusiasts who have a strong understanding of how to build essential—but often overlooked—leadership and interpersonal skills. If you have experience in leadership & team development, workplace culture & organizational growth, negotiation & conflict resolution, change management, workplace productivity, or HR strategy & talent development, we’d love to hear from you

In this role. you can facilitate sessions using Bloom’s original materials or bring your own content (at a negotiated rate!). Either way, we’re here to equip workplaces with the skills that truly make a difference—together.
The Opportunity
• Deliver interactive training on leadership, team development, workplace culture, or HR strategy sessions that promote awareness, understanding, and actionable strategies for fostering more diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace experiences for all;
• Utilizing facilitation techniques, tools, and activities to cultivate engaging and thought-provoking learning experiences;
• Leading virtual and in-person workshops, training sessions, and seminars on a range of HR & Workplace topics, adapting content to meet the specific needs of each organization;
• Fostering a safe and respectful environment for open dialogue and constructive conversations around sensitive anti-oppressive topics;
• Providing guidance and coaching to participants on how to integrate anti-oppressive practices into their daily work, behaviours and interactions;
• Staying current with industry trends, research, and best practices related to facilitation and incorporating new insights into content, materials, and approaches.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
• You have a deep, intersectional understanding of HR Strategy, Workplace Culture, Organizational Development, Team Development, and similar areas in the workplace and proven experience facilitating impactful training programs both virtually and in person.
• You are excited about creating human-centred learning experiences that drive both collective and individual growth.
• You value building trust and partnerships with interdisciplinary teams, external clients, and stakeholders.
• You have a high emotional intelligence (EQ) and a facilitation style that is empathetic, compassionate, and resourceful—essential for navigating different personalities, viewpoints, and emotions.
• You understand anti-oppressive strategies and decolonizing practices for organizations.
• You have strong communication skills (visual, written, and verbal) and can present complex ideas in a clear, concise, and engaging way.
• You are adept at using virtual collaboration tools and adapting facilitation methods to suit diverse client needs.
• You are organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• You can analyze feedback and refine facilitation methods to continuously improve learning experiences.
• You have previous public speaking, teaching or facilitation experience.
More About Us
• We're a tight-knit team; however, there is space to work autonomously and independently quite a bit.
• You'll never work on the weekend or hear from me (Avery) after 6 PM during the week (unless there is an emergency). People rarely work on Fridays here; if they do, it's on their own time - when they want, how they want.
• You'll have autonomy and input in selecting every client we work with. No surprises. We get collective team approval before taking on any new contracts.
Compensation + Location + Hours
• $40.00 - $50.00 per hour (for prep work, routine admin, creating content, and internal & client meetings) + $500 per session you facilitate. You will be joining Bloom via your corporation or as an independent contractor.
• We are 100% remote and encourage folks to work where they can do their best work. That said, since we’re often facilitating or meeting with clients, we expect contractors in the Bloom collective to conduct their work from a private, secure, and quiet space to ensure a distraction-free environment.
• This is a flexible, ongoing contract role based on an hourly structure. While you’ll have the freedom to manage your schedule, most of our clients operate Monday to Friday between + AM - 5 PM EST and our training sessions are often scheduled during this window.
The Interview Process
• Round 1: 30-minute video Zoom call with Agnes (Sr. HR Advisor)
• Round 2: 45-minute interview with Avery Francis (Founder and CEO, Bloom)
• Round 3: 60-minute interview. You’ll be given Bloom’s content for a mini-session and will deliver a mock facilitation to a panel of our team members. There’s no independent work or original IP required - just an opportunity to showcase your facilitation skills. As this is purely a demonstration of delivery with no new content creation, we will not be compensating candidates for this step.

We are accepting applications for this role up to April 14, 2026. All candidates who have applied will be contacted with what’s next in the interview process by April 30, 2026. Any and all applicants that come after the communicated deadline will not be considered.
Start Date
• This is a contract role on a project-by-project basis. If selected to join our collective of facilitators, you’ll be engaged as a contractor for a 1-year term, with opportunities to take on facilitation work as it arises. We already have potential sessions available for contractors as early as May 2026!

We care deeply about offering all applicants a fair and consistent selection process. While we’d love to connect with every candidate individually, we’re unable to accommodate one-on-one conversations before the interview stage. Keeping our process structured helps us reduce bias and ensure we’re selecting facilitators based on skills, experience, and alignment with our mission.

Bloom is committed to equity and inclusion in our hiring. If you’re a person with a disability and require accommodations during the application process, please reach out to [email protected]—we’ll work with you to meet your needs at every stage. We encourage applications from all qualified candidates, including those from historically marginalized communities.

We know there are many great opportunities out there, so we appreciate you considering Bloom as part of your journey.

Ready to grow? If so, apply!
