Wonder Cha Tea Place is looking for tea and coffee enthusiasts who are passionate about crafting yummy drinks and great customer service!
*Prior Barista/Boba Barista experience required to be considered*
This is the very first location and a dream project of the owner, and she hopes to build a team of people who will not only be coming with an open-to-learning-everything mindset, but also be willing to build a healthy, welcoming, and inclusive environment among the staff.
Our boba baristas are responsible for preparing and serving specialty drinks and creating a welcoming environment for all of our customers. Our mission is to add a little bit of joy and wonder to everyone's day-to-day lives. Come join us!
✨ Position: Boba Tea Barista (Weekend or Evening Shifts Primarily)
Location: 10401 Venice Blvd, Suite 102, Los Angeles, CA 90034 (near Culver City)
⏰ Hours: Part Time Shifts (3-8 hour Shifts Available)
must be able to dedicate at least 15 hours/week
must be available to start ASAP
must be able to commit to at least 6 months
For this role, we are looking for someone who will primarily be scheduled Friday, Saturday and Sunday, or evenings during weekdays, or a combination of any of these. Shift availability is from 9:30am-11pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 9:30am-9:30pm all other days. You may on occasion be asked to fill-in shifts if others call out. Looking to hire ASAP.
What You'll Do:
Craft a variety of delicious boba tea drinks with precision and creativity
Provide friendly and efficient customer service with a smile
Operate and maintain tea brewing equipment and boba prep stations
Keep the shop clean, organized, and welcoming for customers, tasks including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dishes, deep cleaning of equipment, and taking out refuse.
Work as part of a fun, fast-paced team to keep orders flowing smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
Previous barista experience
Positive, energetic, and open-to-learning anything attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Passion for boba tea, customer service, and yummy drinks in general
Ability to lift, move, or up to 25lb on a regular basis and up to 40lb on an occasional basis
Ability to remain positive with guests, even during stressful situations
