Job Description
Full-service accounting firm serving Northern Baltimore County is adding a Part- Time Staff Accountant to their team. 25-30 hours per week.
The ideal candidate will be well organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable and receivable, processing payroll and conducting other tasks related to finance. They should be excellent at recording data and have an ability to product clear financial reports.
Job Duties/Responsibilities for all Clients:
• Monthly close:
• Review of general ledger for accuracy:
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Maintain various schedules to include prepaids; liabilities; payroll; etc.
• Financial Reporting
• Filing of sales tax for various clients
• Calculating;
• Filing on state website
• Corporate and Personal tax returns:
• Being able to understand the returns;
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
• Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
