Partner with the leasing agents; send out renewals, work with tenants, and communicate with the super
Answer and direct calls from tenants, vendors, and unit owners
Order supplies, pick up mail, distribute incoming correspondence, and handle filing, copying, and scanning
Prepare and distribute monthly packages to approximately COOP boards
Support the off-site leasing manager with sales and lease renewals
Coordinate and process rental and sales applications, as well as lease renewals
Collaborate with brokers and the manager to arrange listings for apartment rentals
Work with the building superintendent and property manager to manage work orders and prepare apartments for rent
Manage accounts payable by processing weekly invoices for signature, mailing checks, and filing invoices
Assist the accounting department with various tasks as needed

The ideal Bookkeeper holds the following credentials-
• 3+ years of accounting and administrative experience; responsible for handling AP and AR; invoices, cutting checks, mailing invoices, filing invoices, answer calls, order supplies, sending out FedEx, and other ad-hoc task. Partner with the leasing agents; send out renewals, work with tenants, and communicate with the super.
• An associate degree or equivalent, (bachelor’s preferred) or 3+ years of relevant experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, and understanding leases
• Proven knowledge and understanding of property management procedures including legal requirements
• Working knowledge of capital and operating budgets
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
