100% In-Person | River North, Chicago, IL | $60,000/year
Hospitality moves fast and the numbers have to keep up.
We’re looking for a bookkeeper who’s already worked inside a restaurant, bar, or live events operation and understands how high-volume revenue actually flows in the real world.
If you’ve worked with POS systems, multiple revenue streams, and the day-to-day rhythm of F&B, this will feel very familiar in the best way.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be responsible for keeping financials clean, accurate, and organized across a fast-moving hospitality and events business.
• Reconcile food and beverage revenue across POS systems (Toast, Square)
• Manage high-volume transaction reconciliation across events, ticketing platforms, and on-site sales
• Process invoices, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconcile ticketing software revenue across events and activations
• Maintain accurate records in QuickBooks Online
• Track expenses through Capital One expense management platform
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Keep everything organized across multiple projects, locations, and event formats
• Other tasks as assigned
What You Need to Have
• Hands-on bookkeeping experience in restaurants, hospitality, food and beverage, or live events
• Experience with POS systems like Toast and or Square
• Comfort working with high-volume daily sales and reconciliation
• Experience reconciling event or ticketing revenue
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
• Familiarity with Capital One expense management
• Ability to keep pace in a busy, seasonal environment

Compensation
Annual Salary: $60,000. The annual salary for this position is fixed at $60,000.
