As we scale, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper & HR professional to support both our financial operations and people processes.
Role Overview
This is a hybrid role based in Miami, FL, combining bookkeeping and HR responsibilities. You’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records while also supporting recruitment, onboarding, and internal HR processes.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Bookkeeping
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow summaries
• Track expenses, reimbursements, and vendor payments
• Assist with payroll processing and tax documentation
• Support audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
HR & Recruitment
• Manage candidate pipelines and coordinate interviews
• Screen applicants and support hiring decisions
• Ensure all candidates are funneled through internal systems (Remote Recruit)
• Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support HR policies, compliance, and internal processes
• Coordinate with leadership on hiring needs
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related roles
• Experience handling HR or recruitment responsibilities
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Google Sheets, and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
Candidate Requirements
• Must be based in or able to commute to Miami, FL (hybrid setup)
• Comfortable managing both finance and HR responsibilities
Bonus Points
• Experience supporting U.S.-based companies or handling USD transactions
• Familiarity with financial reporting for leadership teams
• Experience with recruitment platforms or ATS systems
• Process improvement or automation experience
