The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key Responsibilities
• * Maintain and update financial records including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank statements.
• * Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• * Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
• * Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
• * Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• * Communicate with vendors and clients to manage invoicing and payments.
• * Support the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.
• Required Skills and Qualifications
• * Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• * Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• * Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally.
• * Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• * Good organizational and time management skills.
• * Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
• * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience
• * Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience.
• * Experience working remotely is preferred.
• * Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards in India.
• Working Hours
• * Flexible working hours with a requirement to be available for key meetings and deadlines.
• * Full-time position with occasional need for overtime based on project requirements.
