Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an accounting position, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to pass an accounting quiz. The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting processes.
This role works onsite collaboratively with Controller and the rest of the team at the HQ in Sherman Oaks, CA.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger accounts Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts Prepare and submit financial reports as required Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards Assist with audits and tax preparation Collaborate with other team members to improve accounting procedures and efficiency Utilize accounting software (experience with Datafaction or Agilink is a plus)
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred) Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting position Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Experience with accounting software; experience with Datafaction or Agilink is a plus Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be willing to work in the office full-time Must pass an accounting quiz to demonstrate proficiency
