We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Branch Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the overall financial health of the branch.
Responsibilities
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process vendor invoices, initiate payments, and maintain accurate records.
• Manage customer accounts, prepare invoices, and ensure timely collections and submission of invoices along with proper supporting documents .
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
• Petty Cash Handling:
• Safeguard petty cash funds and disbursements.
• Reconcile petty cash transactions regularly.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.
• Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain organized financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with other departments to gather financial information.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Accountant or relevant role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Zoho).
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
