Pranjal Arts aims to promote emerging and established visual artists through art camps, exhibitions, collaborations, and marketing. The company holds a collection of 200 original, authentic, handmade paintings by contemporary Indian artists, which can be purchased through its website. Pranjal Arts is rapidly expanding and invites proposals for cultural consultancy in the art and heritage sector.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Brand & Marketing Intern – Art & Interior Decor. The intern will assist in brand strategy development, manage branding efforts, enhance communication, drive sales, and oversee brand management tasks. Daily activities will include creating marketing campaigns, engaging with clients, and collaborating with internal teams to execute branding projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sales of paintings through B2B and B2C channels (interior designers, architects, art collectors, and individual buyers).
• Oversee the day-to-day management and content curation for Pranjal Arts' website, social media platforms, and e-commerce activities.
• Develop and implement effective digital marketing strategies (email marketing, SEO, social media ads, partnerships).
• Collaborate with art exhibitors, interior designers, galleries, and lifestyle brands for exhibitions, showcases, and pop-up events.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing personalized art consultancy where needed.
• Monitor trends in art, decor, and luxury lifestyle markets to keep the brand relevant and innovative.
• Ensure consistent brand storytelling across all touchpoints (online and offline).
• Work closely with the founder and creative team for curated product development and special projects.
• Manage and coordinate participation in art fairs, exhibitions, and collaborations.
• Report weekly on marketing performance, sales conversions, and new initiatives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in art sales, luxury interiors, brand management, or a similar domain.
• Strong understanding of art, aesthetics, and interior decor trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong digital marketing skills (social media management, website CMS, SEO, basic ad campaign management).
• Proven experience in business development and partnership building.
• Passionate about luxury, art, design, and creativity.
• Highly organized, consistent, and proactive with a growth-driven mindset.
Preferred:
• Prior experience working with art galleries, luxury home decor brands, or art consulting firms.
• Knowledge of platforms like Shopify, WordPress, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and email marketing tools.
• Basic understanding of design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
