We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high service standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
Manage time efficiently to serve multiple tables during busy hours
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including table setup and sanitation
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Ability to handle food safety and sanitation standards diligently
Basic math skills for billing and cash handling purposes
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
Experience with food industry operations such as serving, food handling, and hospitality is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
