Job Description
Attend events and workshops on marae, in community settings or within workplaces to encourage and inspire a proactive approach to hauora screening practices, principally to understand the benefits of screening for breast cancer and to participate in the free programme.
Proactively seek out opportunities to promote breast screening by working collaboratively with other screening services, diverse community organisations, health providers and workplaces.
Assist with the development and implementation of a communication and social media plan in alignment with key targets and strategies for breast screening.
Maintain strong and effective relationships in communities across the region including, but not limited to, hauora, iwi and Pacific trusts, community services, councils and local media.
