Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Bridge Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing bridge construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations.
The role involves site supervision, coordination with various stakeholders, team management, government presentations, and preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPR).
Key Responsibilities :
Site Supervision :
• Oversee daily operations at the construction site to ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications.
• Monitor work progress and ensure that all construction activities are performed in accordance with safety standards.
Coordination :
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering teams to facilitate seamless execution of bridge construction projects.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Team Coordination :
• Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are met.
• Facilitate communication between team members to resolve issues and optimize workflow.
Government Presentation :
• Prepare and deliver presentations to government agencies and stakeholders to communicate project status, challenges, and compliance with regulations.
• Engage with government officials to obtain necessary permits and approvals for bridge construction projects.
DPR Report :
• Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPR) including project plans, cost estimates, timelines, and risk assessments.
• Ensure all reports are comprehensive, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner.
Qualifications :
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in bridge engineering or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of bridge design, construction techniques, and project management.
• Proficient in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
