Job Description
The BTP Lead is a critical role related to implementation/migration/support for SAP BTP projects.
The following are key responsibilities
Overall 15 plus years of experience in architecting, designing and helping successful implementations of SAP Integration Suite (Cloud integration, API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Trading Partner Management, Integration Advisor, Edge Integration Cell, RPA) and Clean Core Principles in customer organizations (S/4HANA ABAP Odata, RAP/CAP Framework, Fiori UI5).
Able to Co-ordinate, Collaborate & Manage Business discussions with customer/external vendors.
Gather requirements, propose appropriate integration strategy and design solutions.
Liaising with Delivery Teams to help grow the Business around upcoming technical features in line with Organizational strategy and goals.
Drive with building Assets and Accelerators in SAP BTP and other niche technical areas.
TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
•Must have capability to analyse business and technical requirements; and develop solutions to address the requirements. Should be able to lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact with customer.
•Expert in recommending a scalable and flexible integration and development architecture.
Experience in clean core migrations from S/4 HANA to BTP and ability to identify and migrate extensions as part of Clean Core strategy.
•Knowledge of BTP Development & Automation pillars and ability to recommend best practices in Development, landscape setup, service entitlements and quota.
PROCESS KNOWLEDGE
Sound understanding of one end to end processes like MM, PP, SD, Supply Chain etc.
Expertise in at-least one industry e.g. Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemical, Life Sciences etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Hands-on experience in SAP Integration Suite (API Management, Event Mesh, Open Connectors, Trading Partner Management, Integration Advisor, Edge Integration Cell, RPA)
Experience in planning and migrating interfaces from any middleware/Neo environment to BTP IS Cloud Foundry.
Understanding of BTP Administration, S/4HANA ABAP Odata, RAP/CAP Framework, Fiori UI5 guidelines, knowledge on LC/NC tools in BTP, knowledge of enabling Integration & Exception Monitoring and Health Monitoring in the SAP Cloud ALM launchpad.
Knowledge of clean core principles and ability to guide customer on migration of developments from ECC or S/4 to BTP to ensure clean core of customer SAP system portfolio.
SOFT SKILLS
Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written.
Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment.
Should have ability to manage customer expectations and deal diligently as per the need of the situation.
Great team collaboration and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to quantify achievements and proactively highlight risks.
