BTP Solution Architect
Job Location - Bangalore (Hybrid)
MISSION - Be the BTP Platform Owner's right-hand in all the technology aspects within the platform.
KEY RESPOSIBILITIES
• Drive and collaborate in the creation and evolution of BTP solution reference architectures, policies, best practices, and guidelines.
• Ensure designed solutions are compliant with BTP solution reference architectures, policies, best practices, and guidelines.
• Design and review design of BTP solutions and S/4 Hana extensions.
• Collaborate with BTP Platform Owner in governance and operational model activities.
• Be part of the BTP platform engineering team to get involved in activities such as: Admin & Operations, DevOps Engineering, Security, Observability and Quality Assurance.
• Act as a main connecting link between the BTP Platform Owner and all the different organizations supporting SAP BTP functions in DTC India.
Job Related Experience:
• 12+ working in architecting, designing, and delivering SAP technology-based solutions (at least the last 6 years in SAP BTP).
• Technical Skills
• Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP architecture and its different runtimes (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP).
• Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP administration and operations.
• Highly knowledgeable in architecting, designing, and delivering resilient and highly available solutions in SAP BTP.
• Highly knowledgeable in application and automation development (UI5 Free-Style, Fiori Elements, SAP Build Code, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Workzone, Mobile Development, Hybrid & Native, & SAP Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP Security: Connectivity, authentication, authorization, SSO & Principal Propagation (SAP Cloud Identity Services).
• Highly knowledgeable in SAP BTP monitoring and observability.
• High-level understanding of the processes managed in SAP ERP systems (ECC or S/4HANA).
• Experience in the management of the delivery lifecycle trough DevOps with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SAP BTP CI/CD or Git Hub Actions) and automated testing.
• Highly knowledgeable in the concept “Keep the Core Clean”, the different extensibility options available in S/4HANA (Key User Extensibility, Developer on Stack Extensibility & Side by Side Extensibility) and the role that SAP BTP has within this new paradigm.
• Exposure with SAP Integration Suite, mainly in SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management & SAP Advanced Event Mesh.
• Exposure with data and analytics capabilities provided in SAP BTP: SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP DataSphere and Hana Cloud Service.
• Exposure with AI capabilities provided in SAP BTP.
• Certifications: Certifications in SAP BTP are a plus.
Education: BE/B.Tech/Masters.
