What You’ll Be Doing:
This position provides:
• A ring-side view and scope to participate in initiatives that would shape how we operate as a company in the future.
• An excellent opportunity to rub shoulders with business leaders and guide technical deployment of Workday solutions
This role calls for excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to visualize Finance business scenarios and a deep understanding of Workday system architecture. The role would require strong written and verbal English communication skills. The role would also involve overlapping hours in the EST time zone.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of Workday system architecture to analyze and optimize Finance processes for enhanced efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Finance operations teams to gather, translate business objectives and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Workday system configuration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing Workday configurations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategic solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of Workday with other enterprise systems, maintaining data integrity and system stability.
• Run stand-up meetings, gather updates and ensure work requests are documented and updated
• Stay abreast of Workday updates, system enhancements, and emerging trends to inform continuous improvement initiatives.
• Design and deliver training programs to enhance the understanding and utilization of Workday features among end-users. .
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Mandatory: 3 - 7 years’ experience in a business analyst or development role with a Finance ERP system (Workday, Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP etc.)
• Mandatory: Extensive understanding of Workday configuration, business process framework, and underlying system architecture
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective Workday solutions.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Proven communication skills, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation ability.
• Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, good judgment, mature and positive attitude
• Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information.
• Willingness to work until 2 pm EST /11:30 pm IST
Mandatory Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.
