Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Supporting the implementation of client and pursuit management plans, conducting competitor analysis and contributing to tenders, bids and quotes and other marketing collateral.
Capturing and maintaining all relevant matter information for use in bids and capability statements, CVs, website and legal directory submissions.
Extracting the maximum functionality from the firm’s various BDM and client facing systems and processes and be viewed by the group as an ‘expert’ (e.g. on InterAction, marketing Word and PowerPoint templates, and marketing related tools and guides).
Supporting maintenance of client data and preparation of mailing lists (knowledge of CRMs systems an advantage)
Working with the wider BDM and Marketing and Communications team to ensure a coordinated approach to all client and industry facing activities, including directories and events and contributing informed ideas and suggestions for content development.
Prepare and maintain marketing collateral to support BD activities and adapt material to suit changing requirements.
Working cooperatively with Secondments Team to support with secondment proposals.

About you
The successful candidate must have prior business development, ideally in a law firm but we are open to applicant with professional services experience.
Experience in an insurance practice is not essential but highly desirable
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, above average ability using the Microsoft Office Suite, and strong process management and administrative skills.
A genuine interest in keeping up to date with insurance industry trends and the implications for the firm and our key clients.
