Responsibilities:
Identify and research potential markets, clients, and business opportunities to pursue.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts through networking, meetings, and events.
Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to achieve business growth targets.
Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify market trends, customer needs, and potential areas for expansion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to align business development efforts with company objectives.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new business opportunities.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of business development strategies and adjust as needed.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
Provide feedback and market insights to inform product/service enhancements and improvements.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the organization and build brand awareness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree may be preferred for senior positions).
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the relevant industry.
Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and persuasive abilities to close deals and secure new business opportunities.
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed business decisions.
Proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Proficiency in using CRM software, sales tools, and other relevant technology.
Flexibility to travel for client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
