Position Overview:
As a Business Development Executive, you will be instrumental in expanding our operations in India and fostering strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct cold calls to potential sellers, engage with buyers, and facilitate successful bidding processes to procure surplus inventory for our platform.
Responsibilities :
• Lead Generation: Identify potential leads, decision-makers, and key contacts within target organizations through thorough market research and lead generation techniques.
• Pitch and Presentation: Deliver compelling and persuasive pitches to introduce Surpluss, showcase its benefits, and demonstrate how the platform can address the surplus inventory challenges of potential clients.
• Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs, challenges, and requirements related to surplus inventory management.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth needs assessments to tailor Surpluss solutions to meet the specific needs and pain points of potential clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal sales and operations teams to ensure smooth transitioning of leads into active clients, providing necessary information and context.
• Sales Targets: Meet and exceed individual and team targets for lead conversion, business acquisition, and revenue generation through cold calling efforts.
• Leads Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, leads.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on call activity, lead progress, and sales outcomes to the management team.
Required Skills :
• Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the B2B sector, with a focus on cold calling and engaging with manufacturers and distributors.
• Excellent cold calling and communication skills with the ability to engage potential sellers effectively.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to ensure successful bidding and procurement processes.
• Results-oriented and self-motivated, with a track record of meeting and exceeding procurement targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
