Job Title: Business Development Executive - Solar Panels and Solar Inverters(Work From Home)
Location: North Karnataka: 2 positions
- Andhra Pradesh: 2 positions

Department: Sales & Business Development
Reports to: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager
The Business Development Executive will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base and increasing sales for our solar panels and solar inverters. This position requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills, a deep understanding of the renewable energy market, and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, particularly in the solar energy sector, and a passion for driving sustainable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
Client Relationship Management:
- Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solar energy solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns or issues.
Product Knowledge and Training:
- Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s solar panels, inverters, and related products.
- Stay informed about new product developments and technological advancements in the solar industry.
- Provide training and support to clients on the installation, operation, and maintenance of solar systems.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis for management review.
- Track and report on sales metrics, including leads, conversion rates, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and refine promotional materials and campaigns.
Networking and Events:
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote the company and its products.
- Build and expand a network of industry contacts to generate leads and partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, including solar panels and inverters.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with B2B and B2C sales strategies.
- Familiarity with local and national energy policies and regulations.
- Technical knowledge of solar system installation and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
