Job Description
A New Business Development Specialist responsibility is to prospect for new business opportunities and establish new relationships with customers previously not engaged with eProductivity Software (ePS) within an assigned territory
This role will identify new customers where they will create, and nurture potential opportunities to create a need for ePS software solutions. Target accounts will be a split between the largest and medium-sized accounts in their segment/geography as defined jointly with the growth leadership of EPS Coordination with internal departments to create anew sales pipeline is critical. Success will be driven by using your curiosity and analytical skills to develop a deep understanding of target markets.
In addition, they will be responsible for liaising between general managers, sales, marketing and their Business Development team to identify the target accounts, and ensure the execution of go-to-market plans that include business and lead development activities. They will also be responsible for the administrative duties that are involved in running a business and lead development team. This role reports to the general manager.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop new business opportunities through strategic sales tactics, including customer development, networking, and relationship building and building approach plans
Target specific named enterprise type of companies where ePS has little to no current engagement to gain penetration and invitation at both influencer and decision-making role mapping stakehilders and developing a hypothesis to entry
Nurture relationships within large industry stakeholders including trade associations, end-users and potential partners.
Educate and excite prospects on the the unique value proposition and differentiators of our available solutions and services to drive sales growth
Field inbound leads (contact me, form fills, calls) and BANT qualify before passing to sales
Develop a disciplined, systematic approach to follow up on prospects to keep moving through the sales funnel or remove from outreach efforts
Maintain accurate contact and account details and activity history on prospects in our CRM
Generate new opportunities for product offerings from market intelligence and customer demand.
Prospect new customers using varied methods such as trade shows, regional and local associations, LinkedIn, campaigns and cold calling.
Work closely with Sales to ensure qualified leads are turned into opportunities that are accepted and actively worked by the Sales team
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 8 years of experience in lieu
Experience in the packaging and corrugated industries, with an established network of industry peers.and stakeholders. Knowledge of MIS/ERP and/or other productivity software solutions in the packaging or corrugated industries is a plus
Proven success in challenging C-level decision makers to change business process such as workflows, technologies or other key business practices to improve business results
Ability to use trends, facts, data and technology to disrupt status quo and be a change agent in business across many levels of an organization from ecommerce to front-office and through back-office
Demonstrated success in opening new doors, new accounts and expanding new relationships across large enterprises
Deep experience working with trade assicioations to build brand awareness with an established network of peers and stakeholders, including social media network platforms
Ability to win mindshare, secure engagement and gain commitment from key executives to work with you, your sales team and ePS.
If working remotely, experience working as a remote part of a team, with demonstrated success
Selling or marketing software and/or professional services (or other intangible products) in the packaging or corrugated industries is a plus
Savvy communication skills and strong listening skills when working with C-Level customers to uncover pain and possibility for ePS sales to engage
Motivated individual who keeps current with company messaging and processes to ensure the greatest customer connection and maximize business opportunities

Proven leadership skills to effectively develop, lead, inspire and motivate a high performing team.
Effective problem solving/process improvement skills used to identify and resolve day-to-day operation and employee relations problems.
Ability to think analytically to identify qualitative or quantitative trends and take appropriate actions.
Detail orientation, organizational, prioritization and time management skills; experience building daily/weekly structure in schedules preferred.

Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications.
