Job Description
A materials and construction solutions company in Andheri, is hiring a Business Head with an experience range of 14 to 25 years, to lead its Interior Solutions portfolio. The role focuses on driving category growth, building engagement with architects and interior designers, and supporting specification-led business development across interior product segments.
Project / Business Scope
Work may include:
• Interior product categories including tile adhesives, grouts, wood finishes, interior waterproofing, and surface preparation solutions
• Engagement with architects and interior designers for project specifications
Key Responsibilities
• Drive growth across interior product categories through structured market development initiatives
• Conduct market mapping, competitor analysis, and customer insight studies to support business decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with architects and interior designers for product specification
• Support specification conversion through coordination with internal teams
• Develop and manage engagement initiatives for architects and design firms
• Contribute to training programs, workshops, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Work with marketing teams on campaigns across digital and on-ground platforms
• Support brand visibility and category awareness initiatives within the design ecosystem
• Lead and manage a team focused on business development and specifications
• Build team capability and support performance management processes
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams
Requirements
• MBA in Marketing or Business Management
• Background in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering
• 14–25 years of experience in business development or specification roles within architecture, interior design, or building materials industry
• Experience working with architects and interior designers on project specifications
• Understanding of category-led or product-driven business environments
• Ability to manage both strategic planning and execution responsibilities
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Work Schedule:
• Location: Andheri, Mumbai
• Working Days: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 5:30 pm)
