Business Operations Lead (Australia)YoursVirtually.com / i24 Group - Sydney, NSW
Approximately 15 hours per week
Initial remote role transitioning to office-based

About Us

YoursVirtually.com is a global provider of virtual office services, including mail forwarding, call answering, and virtual assistant support. We serve thousands of clients worldwide and operate established locations in the United States and the United Kingdom.
As part of our continued international expansion, we are launching our first location in Sydney, Australia.

YoursVirtually.com is part of the i24 Group, an established holding company with a portfolio of international brands and team members located across multiple countries. This is a unique opportunity to join an established global business at the very start of its Australian journey and play a key role in building our presence locally from the ground up.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Business Operations Lead based in Sydney who will work closely with our remote leadership team to establish and grow our operations in Australia.
This is a varied, hands-on role where you will be our key person on the ground in Sydney - helping us set up our first location, deliver excellent service to clients, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our operations.
You will report directly to our Group General Manager and collaborate with team members based internationally.
Initially, the role will be performed remotely while we establish our presence in Sydney. You will then assist with sourcing and setting up our first office location and transition into an office-based role once operations are fully established.

Key Responsibilities

Startup and Setup

Assist with establishing our first Sydney location
Help source and set up office premises
Support the implementation of systems and processes
Work closely with management to launch operations successfully
Operations, Administration and Customer Support

Oversee day-to-day operations, customer service, and general office administration
Handle customer enquiries and ensure a consistently high standard of service delivery
Support general business administration, record keeping, and coordination of office activities
Assist with basic HR and people-related administration as the team grows
Manage call answering, mail handling, deliveries, and routine office operations once the physical location is established
Contribute to improving processes, systems, and operational efficiency
Support the growth and development of the business in Australia, including future expansion to additional locations
Director Requirement

As part of Australian company compliance requirements, the successful candidate must be willing to be appointed as a director of our Australian company alongside our existing directors.
This is a standard regulatory requirement to ensure local representation. Full support and guidance will be provided, and the role does not require any financial investment.

Hours and Working Arrangement

Approximately 15 hours per week initially
Flexible working hours during the startup phase
Remote working initially while the company and office are established
Transition to office-based work once operations are fully set up
Opportunity to increase hours as the business grows
This role has clear potential to develop into a full-time managerial position overseeing multiple locations across Australia as the company expands.

Pay and Engagement Structure

This role will initially commence on a contractor / freelance basis at:
$28 AUD per hour
During this initial setup period, you will invoice for hours worked while the Australian entity is being formally established.
Once the company is fully operational and payroll systems are in place, the role may transition to standard employment with applicable statutory benefits, including superannuation and leave entitlements in accordance with Australian workplace laws.
We are open to discussing the preferred long-term working arrangement with the successful candidate as the business grows.

About You

We are looking for someone who is dependable, organised, and comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment.
You will likely thrive in this role if you:

Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Are highly organised and detail-oriented
Are comfortable managing varied responsibilities
Have a positive, can-do attitude
Are a self-starter who can take initiative
Are professional and reliable
