Key job responsibilities
As a Business Operations Specialist (BOS) you will work with different teams to provide administrative and technical experience to both internal and external customers. You will serve as a brand ambassador that draws insights and recommendations from data. As a BOS, you will be responsible for driving increased data quality and solving operational business goals. You will work directly with operations management and sales teams to develop scalable, long-term solutions which will have a significant impact on the Key for Business team.
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant experience in operations and/or business management/consulting
• Strong oral and written communication skills, a bias for action and a proven ability to influence others
• Experience pulling and reporting data from numerous databases (using Excel, Access, and/or other data management systems)
• Demonstrated experience analyzing data sets and using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement
• Experience autonomously conducting quantitative analytics and problem-solve when data does not align
• Experience facilitating progress and identifying blockers
• Experience owning and building processes in ambiguous environment
• Experience with improving team efficiency, scaling processes globally while reducing SLAs, reducing errors, improving processes, and creating and maintaining high level of performance
Preferred Qualifications
• Passionate about the growth and success of Amazon's Key for Business Team while also learning about IoT technologies
• Advanced experience with Excel, or other analytical/Business Intelligence tools
• Results-oriented, have high integrity, and a desire to be part of a world-class, rapidly expanding company
