Moore & Moore is a well established, 2-partner accounting practice that has been in operation for over 25-years. Conveniently located in Bondi Junction, we provide business services, as well taxation and finance advice to our diverse client base. The practice is currently looking for a senior business services accountant to join our friendly and supportive team. You would have support staff reporting to you, as well open communication channels to the partners of the firm. Our workplace is often fast-paced and dynamic, with an emphasis on collaboration. Reporting to the partners you will be responsible for;
Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for all entity types
BAS and IAS preparation
Working closely with partners and senior management on specialist taxation matters
Assist in the management of client relationships
Reviewing the work of junior accounting staff
Where required, assist in the training of junior staff
Skills and experience you will possess;
A minimum of 5 years taxation and accounting experience within Australia
Hold professional certifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) or equivalent
Great communication skills, both written and verbal
High proficiency using Xero
A strong working knowledge of Tax Acts and other relevant legislation
Effectively manage competing tasks and able to work to deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
