Egencia is a great place for outstanding people who share our passion for tech and travel.Egencia is looking for an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for our credit card AR reconciliation function, while delivering operational excellence and proactively driving continuous improvement in execution.The ideal candidate will have a strong background and understanding of accounting/AR CC reconciliations performed in excel. They will have a proven ability to work through ambiguity, think broadly while paying attention to financial and operation details, proactively identify and resolve issues, and ensure timely execution.What you will Do: Prepare and post monthly fee journal entries accurately and timely based on bank and credit card settlement statementsPerform monthly detailed transaction reconciliations in excel between credit card settlement details and AR transactions in the GL subledgerDefine and effectively execute process for resolving unreconciled exceptions identified in the monthly detailed reconciliationsPrepare GL reconciliations monthly for certification in Blackline to substantiate the month-end GL balances in our credit card AR GL accounts including explanations for any unexplained differencesContinually identify opportunities to further improve/streamline processes and implement effective controlsMinimum Qualifications: Have a minimum of 4 years of financial operations and/or accounting experience with progressive growth in responsibilitiesBe proficient in all MS Office 365 applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Oracle experience is a plusHave strong written and verbal communication skillsPreferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another relevant fieldEmbraces and quickly adapts to a rapidly changing business environment while maintaining focus on key business objectivesAbility to extract key messages from data and provide actionable insights, and draw conclusions even with incomplete dataProficient in identifying and framing opportunities in a structured, fact-based way that clearly outlines options, risks, and trade-offsA passion for results and first-class delivery, delighting customers
