ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Full-Time Café Attendant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and members, assisting with the preparation and presentation of our delicious chocolate creations, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You have a for passion for food and beverage, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and welcome members and their guests in a friendly and attentive manner.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all preferences and special requests are accommodated.
Prepare and assemble a variety of food and beverage items.
Follow recipes and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and quality in food and beverage presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas.
Stay informed about current promotions, seasonal offerings, and special events to effectively communicate with customers and members.
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Monitor and restock supplies as needed, including napkins, utensils, and condiments, to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, locking up valuables, and securing the premises.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or retail, preferably in a café, bakery, or similar environment.
Experience using a point-of-sale system to enter orders.
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and collaborate with team members.
Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
