Your gig
Reporting to the Club General Manager and working closely with our National F&B Manager, you’ll run our vibrant, newly renovated Kauai café — the heart of our club community. You’ll make sure members get their post workout fuel with a side of warmth, energy and unmistakable Virgin personality.
A taste of what you’ll be doing
Plan and prepare rosters, assigning crew members to duties that keep service humming.
Ensure crew members follow Kauai service standards and operational procedures.
Hire, train, coach and motivate the team to achieve agreed targets and deliver exceptional experiences.
Maintain stock levels through ordering, receiving and rotation processes.
Manage all store operations including food cost variances, controllable costs, stocktake, banking and daily checks.
Work closely with key stakeholders - including our international Kauai team in South Africa - to share commercial and operational updates.
Perform opening and closing procedures and act as first aid officer when required.
Play an active role in the broader Virgin Active club leadership team.

About you
You have 1+ years of café or restaurant leadership experience, flexibility to work a non traditional schedule and can obtain a Working With Children Check if required.
You love creating refreshing experiences for people and take pride in maintaining a safe, clean and inviting environment.
You’re people focused — warm, honest and genuine — and you love teaching others how to deliver operational excellence.
You’re self assured, a great listener and a clear communicator who’s comfortable engaging at all levels.
You’re driven, curious and calm under pressure. You solve problems, manage your time well and deliver consistently.
