Job Description
Wild Canary is looking for an experienced high-volume Barista to join our fun and energetic team. You must be fast on your feet, have a strong background in hospitality, experience using specialty coffee, able to multitask, have great customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekends.
This is a Casual position with the opportunity for part-time or full-time employment available to the right candidate.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Speciality coffee experience
Deliver beverages in line with our standards
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee station
Greeting customers
Waiting tables
Running food and drinks
General Café /
Restaurant duties
Upholding our high standard of customer service
To be considered for this role you should:
Be available on weekdays and weekends
Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Barista in similar venue
Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
Able to work well under pressure
Work well in a team environment
Must have positive attitude, good work ethic, team player and communication skills and willing to assist in all necessary daily café duties
Have a passion for hospitality, coffee and strong product knowledge and excellent customer service
Have current RSA
Be available on weekdays and weekend availability essential
Have Australian work rights (valid for at least 12 months)
As we are a 7 day a week operation for breakfast and lunch, we would prefer someone with flexible availability.
