Position Summary
To supervise all facets of the Pittstop cafe operation to ensure that it meets Marriott international Brand Standard and Marriott LSOP.
Focus will be on food quality and safety, cleanliness and hygiene of Pittstop operations. Rotation and control of stock and monitoring Marriott standard paper work.
Basic food preparation vegetable, fruit preparation and cooking dishes
Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of the tables, benches and kitchen area
Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
Maintain food logs.
Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
Communicate assistance needed during busy periods.
