Cake Preparation Assistance: Help in preparing ingredients for cake mixing, such as measuring flour, sugar, butter, and other necessary items. Assist in mixing and preparing batters for cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods under the supervision of senior bakers. Prepare cake pans and line them with paper, butter, or oil to ensure smooth cake removal post-baking. 2. Cake Baking: Assist in baking cakes and other pastries, following the instructions provided by the head chef or baker. Monitor ovens and baking times to ensure cakes are baked to perfection. Keep track of baking schedules and make sure all items are baked on time for display and sale. 3. Cake Decorating: Assist in cake decoration, including frosting, icing, fondant application, and simple cake designs. Prepare decorations such as flowers, edible figures, and piping for cakes. Clean and maintain decorating tools like piping bags, spatulas, and cake turntables. 4. Ingredient and Equipment Maintenance: Assist in receiving and organizing ingredients and supplies for the bakery, ensuring items are stored properly. Clean baking utensils, equipment, and surfaces to maintain a clean and hygienic work environment. Help in maintaining stock levels of ingredients and inform the manager when items are running low.
