About the Opportunity
Currently, Dakota Ridge Builders has an exciting opportunity for Carpenter's to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidates will be working along side our Foremen to complete one of a kind custom residential builds or take part in one of our commerical projects.
Some of your key responsibilities within this role will include:
Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients in accordance with the BC Building Code and/or engineer specifications
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
Measure, cut, or shape wood, drywall and other materials
Construct building frameworks, including wall studs, floor joists, and doorframes, truss and roof install
Help erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of large pulleys and cranes
Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures
Instruct and direct laborers and other construction trade helpers
More About You
You have:
Knowledge of BC Building Code
Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
Knowledge of workplace safety
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
The ability to work well in a team or independently
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Time management skills
Ability to travel to work sites across the Sunshine Coast
Valid driver’s license and a dependable vehicle
Clean Driver’s Abstract
As our ideal candidate, you have a positive attitude along with strong interpersonal skills and an eagerness to learn. You are a motivated self-starter with high attention to detail and accuracy, along with strong problem-solving skills.

Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
