• Location: Miami, FL campus
• Hours: Part-time or full-time available (10 hours per week minimum)
• Schedule: Flexible scheduling within school hours, Mon - Fri, 8 am - 4 pm
• Pay: $30 per hour ($60,000 salary + benefits for full-time)
• Start date: Immediate

What You Will Be Doing
• Setting up materials, equipment, and learning spaces for workshops and sessions.
• Supporting academic staff in their daily activities.
• Facilitating student engagement and monitoring participation.
• Managing schedules and overseeing transitions between sessions.
• Receiving mentorship from leaders transforming K-12 education.
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Remaining passive: You won't be observing from the sidelines or simply supervising; you'll be actively engaged in supporting students and their educational experience.
• Handling advanced instruction alone: You're not required to lecture, lead full classes, or provide emotional coaching (yet); those responsibilities belong to the Guides.
• Working without purpose: This role is far from just another job. You'll have a tangible impact on helping children flourish and develop, ensuring every hour is meaningful.
Camp Counselor Key Responsibilities
Assist Guides in fulfilling Alpha's core commitments to students: driving academic achievement, cultivating life skills, and building a genuine passion for learning.
Basic Requirements
• Available to work in person at our Miami campus.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week, with complete flexibility to select your schedule during school hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Full-time position available.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Approachable, kid-friendly demeanor.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Working with us
This is a part-time (20 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $30,000 USD/year assuming 20 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
