Your Role:
Create and execute recruiting plans to meet hiring goals.
Utilize various sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Conduct initial screenings, interviews, reference checks and assessments of candidates.
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
Facilitate the offer process and onboarding of new hires.
Partner with department heads to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
Provide guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
Develop and promote a strong employer brand through use of social media and other channels.
Create engaging content and campaigns to attract potential candidates.
Track and analyze key recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of hiring efforts.
Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
Develop a network of potential candidates for future job openings.
Maintain relationships with past applicants and passive candidates.
Adhere to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
Ensure a fair and unbiased hiring process.
Stay updated on the latest recruitment technologies and best practices.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor hiring practices.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve recruitment strategies.
Plan and participate in job fairs, career events, and networking opportunities.
Assist in conducting orientation for in-office and healthcare professional staff
We’re Looking For Someone Who Has:
Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
2 – 3 years of experience in HR with a focus on talent acquisition
Demonstrated experience with full‑cycle and high-volume recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and offer coordination
Recruitment in healthcare is required.
Ability to exercise tact and sound professional judgment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with candidates, staff, and management
High level of organizational skill, attention to detail, and accuracy, particularly when handling confidential employee information and ability to manage high workload and changing priorities.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating closely with HR, operations, and management teams
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning HR systems and ATS platforms
Ability to travel within Ontario
