Job Description
Canara Financial Advisory Trust (CFAT) invites applications, for the engagement of the Deputy Managing Trustee on a contract basis for spreading financial literacy through its Financial literacy centers at various locations.
1. Position: Deputy Managing Trustee
2. Number of Posts: One (01)
3. Qualification: Retired Chief General Manager / General Manager / Deputy General Manager from Canara Bank (including e-syndicate).
4. Work Experience: The applicant should necessarily have exposure to rural banking, financial inclusion, and financial literacy.
5. Placement: The selected applicant will be based at Trust’s Head Office in Bangalore.
6. Job Profile: Assist the Managing Trustee in managing the affairs of CFAT.
7. Period of Contract: The engagement will be purely contractually in nature for a period of one (01) year and extendable for a further one year per term for a maximum of two terms subject to a maximum of 65 years of age.
8. The engagement on the contract is for a specified period as stated above, and as such should not be construed as an offer of employment or regular employment in the Trust.
+. The contract of engagement can be terminated at any time by either of the parties by giving one month’s clearance notice.
10. Compensation & other Facilities:
a) Remuneration - Rs.50,000/- pm.
b) Vehicle / Petrol limit - Consolidated conveyance of Rs.20,000/- per month.
c) Cell phone charges reimbursement - Rs.1000/- per month.
d) Casual Leave – 12.
e) Working days – as per Bank working days.
Age Limit:The candidate should not be more than 62 years old as of 01.05.2026
