Job Description
The Canteen Assistant is responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of food as part of the Nourish Canteen team to staff and students. The successful applicant should demonstrate the ability to work part of a team in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain safe work environment in accordance with the Work Health Safety Act
Assisting with the preparation, cooking of food within the kitchen team.
Food safety compliance.
Assist with the catering functions when required.
General cleaning and maintenance of a hygienic kitchen.
Over the counter service of customers
Payment rates determined according to the Fast Food Industry Award.
