We’re looking for a Capital Account Manager to join our Capital Sales Team. The role is responsible for managing a book of eligible merchants who have been offered funding through Lightspeed Capital. As trusted experts, our Capital Account Managers are responsible for business development activities in your assigned territories with the goal of driving awareness and adoption of our financial services offering.
Lightspeed Capital is a merchant cash advance providing flexible funding options to Lightspeed Merchants, enabling them to access alternative options to further their business operations.

What you’ll be doing:
Proactively reach out to our existing customers to promote our financial services offering
Provide exceptionally high levels of service and use effective sales techniques to position and drive awareness on Lightspeed Capital for merchants
Build a trusted advisor relationship with your customers and identify where Financial Service opportunities lie across your book of business
Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise the growth of your book of business
Achieve sales targets by providing exceptional advice and service to each merchant and coordinating with the Regional leader for Account Management to maximise opportunities within the assigned territory
Employ effective business development & relationship management techniques to assist in meeting or exceeding established sales targets for the territory
Provide regular feedback and be the voice of the merchant to business leaders
Understand the risk based nature of Merchant Capital Advances and how to communicate this with merchants; supported by our Risk team
What you need to bring:
We're looking for candidates who has experience with the following:
Sales experience, preferably selling a financial service product, with a track record of high performance for several years running
Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment
Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies to manage and organise pipeline
Strong interpersonal skills to manage and build solid partnerships both internally and externally
Ability to work collaboratively and closely with adjacent teams, forging positive and valuable relationships
