Job Description
This position is PART TIME and expires 31 October 2026.
This position is located at Georgia Garrison Training Center Ft. Stewart.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs basic carpentry as an assistant to an advanced-level carpenter at the Georgia Garrison Training Center, Fort Stewart. This includes the repair, maintenance or construction of state/federal buildings and related structures. Installs and maintains security, climate control, and other facilities systems. The person in this position will be required to occasionally operate a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to those applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, also possess:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. One year experience in maintenance and/or carpentry type construction.
Preference will also be given to those applicants that possess a certification for forklift operation and defensive driving.

2. Able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
