We are looking for a Carpenter Helper to join our team and assist with various carpentry projects. The successful candidate will have experience in woodworking, construction, and the use of power tools. The Carpenter Helper will be responsible for assisting with the building of fences, installing skirting, building decks, and other various woodworking jobs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the carpentry field and learn from experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Cut or saw boards, timbers, or panels to specified sizes, using hand tools and power saws.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
• Work long hours outside and be able to carry various materials weighing up to 75 lbs
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
