The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH) is a government agency dedicated to creating equal opportunities for all Victorians.
We work in various areas including child protection, housing, disability, family violence prevention, multicultural affairs, LGBTIQA+ equality, veterans, women, and youth.
Our mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable Victorians by providing support services across metropolitan, rural, and regional Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
Provide case support tasks for clients in the Child Protection program
Supervise access visits between children and their families
Transport children to services
Provide in-home support to families
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Ability to travel, including country regions
Understanding of Aboriginal culture
Familiarity with legislative, policy, and practice requirements relating to Aboriginal children, families, and communities
Accountabilities
Maintain accurate records of work activities
Prepare case notes and correspondence for colleagues
Record information using departmental systems
