Job Title: Senior Editorial Associate Location: Editorial Headquarters, Jaipur Department: Editorial Positions Open: 4 Experience Required: Minimum 8 years in print journalism or editorial desk Language: Hindi (mandatory), English (preferred) ⸻ Role Overview: We are looking for experienced and sharp-minded Senior Editorial Associates to join our core editorial team at the headquarters in Jaipur. The role involves hands-on editorial work along with planning and coordination to ensure timely, accurate, and impactful content delivery across our editions. You will be expected to take ownership of daily editorial operations, contribute to newsroom strategy, and uphold the editorial values of the organization. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Editorial Planning: • Contribute to daily, weekly, and special edition content planning. • Coordinate with Editions, bureaus, and section heads for input and execution. • Identify editorial priorities based on news flow, relevance, and audience interest. • Content Oversight: • Edit and rewrite news copies, features, and opinion pieces with accuracy, clarity, and strong headlines. • Ensure language quality, factual accuracy, and legal/ethical compliance in all content. • Finalize pages in coordination with the design and production teams. • Editorial Decision-Making: • Participate in editorial meetings and contribute ideas for campaigns, series, and reader engagement. • Take quick editorial calls during breaking news situations. • Ensure adherence to the editorial vision and standards of the newspaper. ⸻ Eligibility & Skills Required: • Proven experience (8+ years) in editorial roles at a reputed Hindi newspaper. • Strong command over Hindi language and grammar; capable of writing crisp headlines and intros. • Ability to handle pressure and meet tight publishing deadlines. • Editorial judgment with ethical clarity. • Basic familiarity with CMS, AI and newsroom planning tools. • Flexible for late-evening or rotational shifts. ⸻ What We Offer: • Opportunity to work at the editorial nerve center of a leading media house. • A collaborative environment with senior editors and decision-makers. • Platform to contribute to impactful journalism at a state and national level. • Competitive salary and benefits, commensurate with experience. ⸻ To Apply: Email your updated CV, a cover letter, and 2-3 edited or written samples to: Subject Line: Application – Senior Editorial Associate last date: 10th July 2026
