The Cashier is responsible for cash, debit, credit card and gift card transactions as well as maintaining a clean and organized work space.

Job Duties
• Provide customers with expert customer service and proactively build and maintain customer relationships
• Maintain a positive work environment
• Ringing through transactions
• Handling returns
• Answer phones and directing calls
• Directing traffic
• Preparing merchandise for the sales floor
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• End of night cash out
• Keep cash desk stocked with product, merchandised and tidy
Requirements
• High school diploma
• Experience as a cashier would be an asset
• Continual learning is required.
Work Conditions
• Retail store setting
• Position involves standing for long periods of time
• Occasional overtime may be required
• May be required to work occasional on/off-site promotional events, including evenings and weekends
• Evenings and weekends required.
