Madras Magic is a vibrant South Indian restaurant located in the heart of Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. We pride ourselves on delivering authentic flavors and exceptional service to our customers, offering a diverse menu inspired by the rich culinary traditions of South India.
• Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions using the cash register and POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
- Answer phone calls and take reservations as needed.
- Assist with packing and arranging takeout orders.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer customer questions about our dishes.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Uphold high standards of customer service and hospitality at all times.
• Requirements:
- 1 year experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
- Knowledge of South Indian cuisine is a plus.
- Social media management is a plus.
