Overall 8+ years' experience and Post graduation in computer science related subject. Expert in Cassandra and experience with other database toolsThe Cassandra administrator role involves setting up the cluster, optimization of the read and write data, copying data from other file systemsAdministrate, monitor secure, backup and optimize, trouble-shoot the Cassandra cluster environments in production and non-production environments. DBA should closely work with Architects, other DBAs, and development teams to design, implement and support our customers data storage and reporting systems. Understand the business requirements, execution, and present the status to stake holders.The Cassandra administrator should have good experience with various databases and tools, Hadoop and elastic search etc added advantage.
