Raleigh Street Community Children’s Centre is a warm, community-run early learning service providing education and care for up to 60 children per day across two campuses, from 6 months to preschool age. Established in 1985, we are proud of our strong community connections and inclusive, relationship-based approach. We have been assessed as Exceeding the National Quality Standard in all 7 Quality Areas (for the third time) and are committed to ongoing quality improvement. Our educators and teachers work collaboratively to deliver high-quality long day care and 3- and 4-year-old Kindergarten programs guided by the EYLF, VEYLDF, and the rights and voices of children and our community. Raleigh Street Community Children’s Centre is seeking enthusiastic and flexible Casual Educators to support our teams across our infant, toddler and kindergarten programs. This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working in a collaborative, community-focused environment. Casual Educators work alongside permanent educators and teachers to provide high-quality education and care, support children’s learning and wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all children. Key Responsibilities: * Support the implementation of developmentally appropriate learning experiences in line with our curriculum * Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues * Supervise and engage children to ensure their safety and wellbeing at all times * Assist with daily routines including meals, rest times and transitions * Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment * Follow all child safety, health, safety and centre policies and procedures About You: * Hold a Certificate III, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification * Have a current Working With Children Check and first aid (or willingness to obtain) * Are professional, reliable, flexible and able to work across different age groups * Demonstrate a commitment to child safety, inclusion and high-quality practice * Enjoy working as part of a supportive, professional team This is a great opportunity to work in an Exceeding-rated, community-run service with a strong focus on teamwork, professional respect and quality outcomes for children.
