Clifton Street Children’s Centre (CSCC) provides high-quality childcare in a parent-managed, community-based early learning environment for children aged six months to school age. We proudly incorporate funded 3-year-old and 4-year-old Kindergarten Programs within our long day care setting. We are passionate about play-based learning and offer calm, non-rushed, open-ended programs that emphasise natural and recycled materials. Our educational approach is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
Clifton Street Children’s Centre is seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and reliable **Casual Educators** to support our teams across our infant, toddler and kindergarten programs. This opportunity is ideal for educators who are passionate about early childhood education and enjoy working within a collaborative, community-focused service. Casual Educators work alongside our permanent educators and teachers to deliver high-quality education and care, foster children’s learning and wellbeing, and contribute to a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for all children. Key Responsibilities: • Support the delivery of developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences aligned with our curriculum • Build warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children, families and colleagues • Actively supervise and engage with children to ensure their safety, wellbeing and sense of belonging • Assist with daily routines including meals, rest periods and transitions • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming learning environment • Adhere to all child safety, health and safety, and centre policies and procedures
• Hold a Certificate III, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or Early Childhood Teaching qualification • Have a current Working With Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
