Job Description Summary
As part of the Construction & Commissioning Quality Team – The
C&C APQP Governance Specialist will support the processes
associated to the launch activities related to AQQP. You will provide
quality leadership during the multiple developmental phases of
launching the projects, as well as ensuring that the gate reviews are
properly executed and followed (from preparation to closure of the
activities)
You will possess creative problem-solving skills in a team
environment and comfortable with communicating clearly and
efficiently throughout varying levels of the organization. Due to the
nature of the assignments undertaken, you will work in an
environment that promotes autonomy and initiative, requiring a
flexible attitude. Above all, you will have a desire to progress.
Job Description
• Lead the launch and implementation of the APQP process and activities at C&C – ensuring there are clear objectives, timelines and required participants
• Establish SOP and project plans with the team
• Coordinate, review, and participate in the Gate Review approval process.
• Participate in reviews & updates for upper management
• Identify product/project validation requirements and lead the team through the steps
• Identify improvements to the Quality Assurance Plans to ensure that GE and customer requirements are met and properly flowed down
• Ensure that the customer/GE requirements are properly incorporated into the project specifications, and lead risk and failure analysis - to ensure requirements are fully met during the validation of the gate reviews
• Develop, support, and attend process reviews/audits
• Perform or lead root cause analysis as required
• Internally communicate with ITO, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and others on opportunities for quality improvement.
• Integrate Lessons Learned (FOE) in APQP activities
• Interact with all internal customers
• Prepare the APQP documentation as per the specifications
• Support Hydro Management System activities (HMS)
• "Hands on" approach with cross functional teams / manufacturing
