ABOUT OUR ROLE
Under the direction of the Vice President of Finance, the Centralized Controller assists with the oversight, management and daily/monthly review of accounting and finance operations of the West region assets – including Trailborn Grand Canyon, Trailborn Rocky Mountains, and Trailborn Mendocino. As Controller, your duties include, but are not limited to, adhering to company accounting standards, building and maintaining the annual budget, forecasting cash flows, overseeing the monthly financial close, managing day-to-day financial operations, reconciling all balance sheet accounts monthly, verifying inventories, and maintaining the overall integrity of financial statements. You will oversee all accounting aspects of the properties and works in conjunction with hotel leadership teams in the aggressive and successful growth of the company.
ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS
Assist in the planning, developing, and implementing of the organization’s financial goals. Integrate financial planning with the organization’s strategic direction.
Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and other informational reports/analysis.
Ensure the timely submission and accuracy of bi-weekly payroll at each property, while verifying that controls are met for all payroll submissions.
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide updated forecasts as required by senior leadership.
